Chi Nei Tsang
Developed by the White Cloud Taoist Monks in ancient China, Chi Nei Tsang is a holistic approach to the healing touch modality. It integrates the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our being. CNT goes to the very origin of health problems, including psychosomatic and emotional responses.
Chi Nei Tsang literally means “working the energy of the internal organs” or “internal organs chi transformation.” CNT uses all the principles of Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan known as Chi Kung (Qigong). Therefore, Chi Nei Tsang is a form of “applied Chi Kung.” It is, at the same time, hands-on bodywork and energy healing.
The focus of the session is on the abdomen, but other areas of the body such as the head, neck, shoulders, and back may be worked on as well based on the client's current condition. Chi New Tsang addresses all systems of the body, including lymphatic, visceral, musculoskeletal, endocrine, nervous, reproductive, respiratory, lymphatic, metabolic, etc.
The best results come from having sessions weekly or every other week. After results are seen and felt, the client might only need to come in occasionally for a 'tune up'. It is important for the client to keep working on themselves in between sessions and make any necessary lifestyle changes. This may be done by simple chi gong exercises, meditation, proper nutrition, and self-care practices. $200 per session, package rates are available.
